NEŞE YILMAZ TUNCEL

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neşe YILMAZ TUNCEL is a food engineer and works as a researcher and a lecturer at Deparment of Food Technology, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Onsekiz Mart University, Çanakkale (Dardanelles), Turkey. During her Master’s and PhD studies, she worked on the effect of infrared processing on nutrients, bioactives, mycotoxins, and enzymes. She conducted post-doctoral studies on the effects of β-glucan oxidation products at Food Biochemistry Lab., ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Currently, she is leading and /or involved in several research projects related valorization of by-products, plant-based foods formulation, anti-nutrients, and alternative high protein plant-food sources.
